Who else rolls their eyes when they hear "TIK TOK"?
Another platform I need to be on?
Isn't it just for tweens and teens?
I'm too old for this.
My audience is just NOT on Tik Tok.
What would I even post?
I hear ya. Trust me. If you don't believe me, check out the Facebook post I made a week ago. I'm not a "fan" yet.
It's literally my job to be on social media and figure out what works for businesses. Soooo...with all this "TIK TOK" talk...I knew I had to give it a go, even if It felt super awkward.
Listen, I am not a PRO yet. But I'm testing it out---taking one for the team---so we can all succeed in the online world.
Here are some promising Tik Tok facts:
- 1/3 of its users are over the age of 30
- TikTok is the fastest-growing social media app, with about 500 million regular users.
- There's not really any algorithm yet -- which means you can get AMAZING organic reach
- TikTok just launched the ability to advertise, so for us biz owners--THIS IS A GOLD MINE
