Hey! Let's talk about billing thresholds.
What's that you ask?
It's how Facebook charges you for your ad spend.
So when you're running ads. You're spending money, right? So if you want to know How Facebook Charges you for running ads well It all starts and ends with your billing threshold.
As you start running ads, your billing threshold will most likely start off on the lower side. For example, let's say your billing threshold is $25. Every time your ad spend reaches those $25. Facebook will automatically charge your debit card on file. and also raise your billing threshold higher. Pretty straight forward right?
This is how a billing Threshold works.
How Do You Change Your Billing Threshold?
You can adjust your billing threshold by going into your business manager clicking on business tools and then going under the billing tab.
Step 1: Go to Business Tools
Step 2: Click On Billing Tab
Once you're there you can go into your payment settings and if you have already started running ads you will be able to see a history of all your previous transactions. You'll also be able to see if there are any unpaid bills left on your account.
Step 3: Go Into Your Payment Settings
If you want to make sure that your card and business information is set up properly click on the three little dots on the right-hand corner.
When you click on this, you can enter your Billing threshold. Keep in mind that the amount you input is going to affect how often you get charged. You can set this up to charge you frequently or less frequently depending on your preferences.
